Brow Process
Ever wonder what the eyebrow healing process actually looks like? We captured every step so you know exactly what to expect!
It’s important to remember that microblading is a two-part process. Your brows will go through several phases before revealing their true color:
Days 1-4 (Dark and Bold): Your new brows will appear much darker and bolder than the final result. Don’t panic! The pigment is sitting on top of the skin, and this is completely normal.
Day 5 – Days 6/7 (The Flaking Phase): The skin will begin to flake or lightly scab, and your brows may look patchy. Do not pick! Picking can pull out the pigment and cause scarring. Let the flakes fall off naturally.
Weeks 2-4 (The “Ghosting” Phase): Your brows may appear very light or even look like the pigment has disappeared. This is often called the “ghosting” or “milky” phase. The color is settling beneath the new layer of skin. Trust the process—the color will return!
Weeks 5-6 (The Color Returns): The pigment has fully settled, and you can see the true, beautiful color and shape of your new brows. This is your final healed result before the touch-up.
Touch-Up: This is crucial! About 6-8 weeks after your initial session, we perfect the shape, fill in any spots that healed too lightly, and ensure the color is absolutely flawless.
Patience is key! Follow your aftercare instructions perfectly for the best possible results.
